A quick death is a “they’re on opposite sides, it was unavoidable that one would kill the other, he just happened to do it with a decapitation” and the long death is more of a “wow he really went out of his way to cut off both arms and then slice him in the leg before cutting his head off…” The one that never was both shows how skilled Mace Windu is and gives more of a reason for Boba Fett to want revenge so badly.
